Terms and Conditions
Acceptance and scope
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the other notices on this page. If you do not agree, do not use the website. Additional written terms may apply to a quote, purchase or other service. If a separately signed agreement conflicts with these general terms, that agreement controls for its subject.
What this website provides
This website gives information about Alturion LLC's clear, two-component protective coating, the surfaces it suits and how it is applied. It is not a coating sales agreement or a warranty.
Technical information is for your review. Confirm current, application-specific efficacy and regulatory claims with Alturion LLC before specification. Confirm suitability for the specific material, existing finish and intended use before specification. Protection depends on the coating remaining intact.
Photographs and graphics on this website are illustrations, not customer installations or proof of results. Coating schematics and sequences are simplified illustrations, not measurements.
Content on this website is general information. It is not legal, safety or other professional advice, and it does not create a professional relationship.
Quotes and purchases
This website does not take orders or payments. A quote, order or purchase is covered by the written terms Alturion LLC provides for it, including price, payment, delivery and any warranty.
Acceptable use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- interfere with the website, its security or another person's use;
- attempt unauthorized access to the website, its systems or its providers;
- introduce malicious code, automated abuse, excessive load or deceptive traffic;
- use the website to violate law, privacy, intellectual-property or other rights;
- misrepresent the website, its content or your relationship with Alturion LLC; or
- copy, scrape, reproduce or distribute protected material except as law or an express license permits.
Ownership and permitted use
Alturion LLC and its licensors retain their rights in the website, design, text, graphics and brands. You may view and print these pages to review the coating. That permission does not transfer ownership or allow republication, resale or removal of notices.
Third-party names, marks and services belong to their owners. Referring to them does not imply endorsement.
Calls, texts and communications
Please do not send confidential, payment, health or other sensitive information in a call, text or message.
Calls. Our phone line, (562) 685-8813, is answered by an AI voice assistant, not a person. Calls may be recorded and are transcribed by our phone service provider. See AI assistants below.
Texts. These terms apply to every text message from Alturion LLC. We text only people who agree as described below or who text us first.
What we text. If you agree, Alturion LLC texts you only about the inquiry you made, such as answers, follow-up questions and arranging a call or visit. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
How you agree. You agree by checking a box that is never checked for you, next to these terms, when you give us your mobile number, or by texting us first, in which case we reply about your message. You can send an inquiry, get a quote or buy without agreeing to texts. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. We send texts between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. your local time, except a reply to a text you just sent us.
Stopping and help. Reply STOP, QUIT, END, REVOKE, OPT OUT, CANCEL or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text to stop texts. We send one message confirming that you are opted out, and then no more texts. You can also choose "Stop calling or texting me" on the request form on this page, email info@alturionllc.com, call (562) 685-8813 or tell us in any other reasonable way. We honor every request to stop calls or texts promptly, and always within 10 business days. Reply HELP for help, or contact info@alturionllc.com or (562) 685-8813.
Your number. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number, or your text opt-in and consent, with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The Privacy Policy on this page explains how we handle phone numbers, messages and text consent.
A visit or an ordinary inquiry is never treated as permission to text you or to market to you. If you leave a callback number, we use it only to answer your inquiry.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend or discontinue content or features. We do not promise that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, current, complete or error-free. We try to correct material errors after they are identified.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Nothing on this page excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for carrier delays, network failures, external websites, provider outages or interruptions outside our reasonable control.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alturion LLC and its members, employees, contractors, licensors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or use arising from the website. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent the law permits.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where another law must apply. Subject to rights that cannot be waived, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Los Angeles County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the website, law, providers or our practices change. The new version will appear on this page with its updated date. Changes apply going forward unless law requires otherwise.
AI assistants
Phone
When you call (562) 685-8813, you speak with the Alturion LLC AI assistant, an automated system, not a person. At the start of the call it tells you that the call may be recorded and is transcribed.
It answers basic questions about Alturion LLC and the coating and takes a message with any name, number and details you choose to give. It does not transfer calls. Alturion LLC staff review every message before anyone follows up.
Its answers are general information and carry the same qualifications as this website. Confirm application-specific requirements with Alturion LLC before specification.
Recordings, transcripts and summaries
HighLevel (LeadConnector), our phone service provider, produces the call recording, the transcript, a summary and the inquiry details taken from it, and Alturion LLC staff receive an internal alert about the new message.
We use them only to respond to your inquiry and to keep records the law requires. We do not sell or share them, use them for marketing or use them to train AI models.
No AI makes decisions about you. AI summaries help staff read messages; a person decides how to respond.
We keep call recordings, transcripts and summaries while we are communicating with you about your inquiry and any quote or project that follows, and for 24 months after our last communication so we can answer follow-up questions about it. Then we delete them, except records the law requires us to keep longer.
Privacy requests made to an AI assistant
You can tell the AI assistant that you want to know what personal information we have about you, get a copy, correct it or delete it, have us not sell or share it, limit the use of sensitive personal information, or stop calls or texts. It notes your request and passes it to Alturion LLC staff, and we record it in our privacy request record with the time your call came in.
The AI assistant does not complete or deny requests. Staff handle them as described in Data Rights, including any identity check.
Reaching a person
To reach a person, leave a message with the AI assistant, email info@alturionllc.com or write to the address above. A member of our staff reviews every message.
Website chat
When you use website chat, labeled "Ask Alturion LLC", you are interacting with the Alturion LLC AI assistant, an automated system, not a person. It says so when the chat opens and stays labeled as AI for the whole conversation. The chat loads only after you choose to start it. Before it loads, you see what it collects and why, who provides it, how long we keep it, that we do not sell or share it and your choices, with a link to this page, and the Privacy Policy on this page includes everything it collects. Any cookie or browser storage it uses is listed in Cookies and Preferences before it runs, and any text-message box it shows is one you check yourself; it is never checked for you.
Our AI service providers
HighLevel (LeadConnector) provides the phone AI assistant, call recordings, transcripts and summaries. We give it call information only so it can run these services for Alturion LLC.
Privacy Policy
Who is responsible
Alturion LLC operates this website and the phone line listed on this page and is responsible for the personal information described here. This policy covers the information we collect online and offline: on this website, by phone, by email and by mail. It explains what we collect, why, who receives it, how long we keep it and the choices you have.
Information we receive
This website. The pages are static and run no analytics or advertising. Cloudflare, which serves the pages, receives ordinary request and security information needed to deliver and protect the site: the time, the page requested, your IP address, your browser type, the response status and coarse network information. Our own pages store only your Cookies and Preferences choice in your browser, and only after you save one. Anything stored by a feature you start, such as website chat, is listed under Cookies and Preferences before it is stored. When you save or reset a choice, the page also sends us an anonymous record of it with no identifier, described under Cookies and Preferences. Everything website chat collects is included under Categories of personal information, Service providers and Retention below; see also Website chat under AI assistants.
Privacy request form. When you use the request form on this page, we receive what you enter: the request you choose, your name, your email address, phone number or both, the state you live in if you give it, any details you add and, if you act for someone else, that person's name. We also record the date and time we received the request and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal. To limit abuse, we keep a coded form of your network address for one hour; it is not part of your request record.
Calls. When you call (562) 685-8813, you may give your name, a callback number, a message and project details. The phone system also logs caller ID and call history. Calls may be recorded and are transcribed, and we keep the transcript, a summary, the inquiry details taken from it and any recording.
Email and mail. When you email info@alturionllc.com or write to us, we receive what you send.
Categories of personal information
In the past 12 months we collected the categories below, from the sources and for the purposes shown. We disclosed each category only for those purposes, only to the service providers shown, which are described under Service providers, and when the law required it. We did not sell or share any of them. How long we keep each kind of information is under Retention.
- Identifiers: name, phone number, email address, postal address if you write to us, the state you live in if you tell us, caller ID, IP address and the request ID we assign to a privacy request. Sources: you, your browser or device, and the phone network. Purposes: answer your inquiry or request, follow up, keep the records described in this policy, and protect the website and phone line. Disclosed to: Cloudflare, HighLevel (LeadConnector), Amazon Web Services and EverIntent.
- Personal information described in California Civil Code section 1798.80(e): name, postal address and telephone number. Same sources, purposes and recipients as identifiers.
- Commercial information: the products, projects and services you ask about. Source: you. Purpose: answer your inquiry and follow up. Disclosed to: the service providers named under Service providers.
- Professional or employment-related information: your company, title or role, if you tell us. Source: you. Purpose: answer your inquiry and follow up. Disclosed to: the service providers named under Service providers.
- Internet or other electronic network activity: time, pages requested, response status, browser type, any Global Privacy Control signal, and, for the request form, a coded form of your network address kept for one hour. Source: your browser or device. Purposes: deliver and protect the website, limit abuse, fix errors and honor your privacy choices. Disclosed to: Cloudflare.
- Audio and electronic information: call recordings, transcripts and summaries. Source: you, through the phone line. Purpose: give staff an accurate record of your message so they can follow up. Disclosed to: HighLevel (LeadConnector).
- Sensitive personal information: we do not ask for it. If you include it in a message, we use it only to answer that message.
- Inferences: none. We do not draw inferences about you or build a profile of you.
Why we use it
We use information to answer your inquiry or request, keep a record for staff review and follow-up, protect the website and phone line, limit abuse, fix errors and keep records the law requires, including our record of privacy requests. Our AI phone assistant summarizes calls so staff can follow up; it does not make decisions about you. Staff may receive an internal text alert about a new inquiry; that alert is a staff message, not a message to you. We do not use any information for marketing, and a visit alone is never marketing consent.
Your communication choices
An inquiry, a call and a text message are separate decisions, and optional choices are never preselected. We do not send marketing email or marketing texts. You can withdraw a choice by replying STOP to a text, by choosing "Stop calling or texting me" on the request form on this page, or by using the contact information on this page. Mobile numbers and text consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts this website and stores our record of privacy requests and our anonymous record of Cookies and Preferences choices. HighLevel (LeadConnector) runs our phone line, the AI voice assistant, call recordings, transcripts and summaries, and contact records. Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES) delivers the email we send, including privacy request receipts and staff alerts. EverIntent builds and maintains this website and hosts the mail server for our info@alturionllc.com mailbox. We use other service providers only for functions the website or phone line actually uses, and we list them here before they receive any information.
We give these providers information only so they can provide their services to us. Each provider controls its own systems and may apply its own terms and privacy notice. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or act on your direction.
Text messaging. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. The recipients described in this policy do not receive text-messaging opt-in data and consent, except a messaging provider that delivers our texts, which uses it only for that purpose.
Selling, sharing and sensitive information
Alturion LLC does not sell or share personal information and has not done so in the past 12 months. We do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising or profiling. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16, because we sell or share none. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
We use sensitive personal information, if you send it, only to answer your message and for the other limited purposes California law allows. We do not use any information to infer characteristics about you.
Do Not Track and tracking across websites
This website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and it does not let other companies collect information about your activity across websites through it. Because there is no such tracking, our practices are the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request not to sell or share for your browser, and Cookies and Preferences shows "Opt-Out Request Honored" when it detects one; see Data Rights.
Retention
We keep each kind of information only as long as needed for the purpose we collected it, then delete or deidentify it:
- Inquiry records (call recordings, transcripts, summaries, contact records, emails and letters): while we are communicating with you about your inquiry and any quote or project that follows, and for 24 months after our last communication so we can answer follow-up questions about it. Then we delete them.
- Website request and security information: only for Cloudflare's standard logging period to deliver and protect the site. We keep no separate copy. For the request form, the coded form of your network address is kept for one hour.
- Your Cookies and Preferences choice: in your browser for 180 days, or until you reset it or clear this website's stored data. Our anonymous record of each choice: 24 months, then deleted at our next monthly review; after that we keep only totals. The text of each version of the Cookies and Preferences bar, the panel and the Cookies and Preferences section: kept as our record of what we published.
- Privacy request records: 24 months after we close the request. A record of a deletion request, or of an instruction not to sell or share, is kept as long as needed to keep that information deleted or that instruction in effect.
- Do-not-contact list: if you ask us to stop calls, texts or email, we keep your phone number or email address and the date of your request on that list for as long as needed to honor it, even after a deletion request.
- Information the law requires us to keep longer, such as records of a quote or purchase: for the period the law requires.
Security
No Internet service can guarantee perfect security. We use safeguards appropriate to the website, the phone line and our privacy request record, limit access to the people who handle your inquiry or request, and investigate issues we identify.
Children
This website is about surface coatings and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Outside the United States
Alturion LLC is based in the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your local law may give you additional rights.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once every 12 months and update it when the website, providers, law or our practices change. Each version shows its effective date at the top of this page. When we make a material change, we update the date at the top of this page before the change applies, and we do not use information already collected in a materially different way without your consent.
Cookies and Preferences
What this website uses today
Fonts. Our fonts are served from this website, so your browser does not request them from a font service.
Cookies and browser storage. Our own pages set no cookies. When you save a choice in Cookies and Preferences, our own script stores one essential value in your browser's local storage, alturion-preferences. It holds your choices, how you made them, whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal at that moment, the date you saved them and the date they expire. It contains no name, contact detail or identifier and expires after 180 days. This value is stored only when you save a choice, and showing the Cookies and Preferences bar stores nothing.
Request form. The request form on this page sends what you enter to us only when you submit it. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
Analytics and advertising. This website runs no analytics or advertising. Every optional category starts off, and nothing optional runs until you turn it on.
Hosting. Cloudflare delivers the pages and sets no cookies on them in normal use. If Cloudflare needs to check a connection for automated traffic, it may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm or cf_clearance). That cookie is essential, protects the website and is not used to track you.
Our record of your choices
Each time you press Reject All, Accept All or Save Choices, or reset your choices, the page sends us a short record of that choice, and we keep it in our own database at Cloudflare. The record holds the date and hour our server received it, the version of this notice that was on screen, the button you used and where you used it (the bar at the bottom of the page or the Cookies and Preferences panel), the resulting setting of each optional category, and whether your browser sent a Global Privacy Control signal.
The record holds no name, contact detail, IP address, browser or device details, cookie or other identifier, and its time is kept only to the hour, so it does not show who you are or which browser made the choice. We keep and use these records only in this form and will never try to connect them to you or to any other record we hold. Seeing the bar, opening or closing the panel, scrolling or browsing never creates a record. We use these records only to show how the choices made on this website are honored and to check that Cookies and Preferences works. We never use them for marketing, and we keep each one for 24 months, then delete it.
Each record is added as a new entry and is never edited. Each entry carries a digital fingerprint that covers its contents and the entry before it. We also keep the exact text of every version of the Cookies and Preferences bar, the panel and this section, with its own fingerprint and the date it took effect.
Your choice works whether or not the record reaches us: it is applied in your browser either way, and saved there unless your browser blocks saving.
To see the choice saved in your browser, open Cookies and Preferences. Because our record holds no identifier, it does not point to you. If you ask through the request form under Data Rights, by email to info@alturionllc.com or by phone at (562) 685-8813, we will send you the text that was on screen on the date you name and, if you give us the date, the hour and the choice, show you the entries that match.
Your choices
When no choice is saved in your browser, a Cookies and Preferences bar appears at the bottom of each page with Reject All, Manage and Accept All. Manage opens Cookies and Preferences, which is also linked at the bottom of every page and shown below, where you can accept, reject, save, change or reset your choices at any time. Essential is always on: it delivers the pages, keeps them secure and remembers the choice you save. Functional, Analytics, Marketing, Advertising and Cross-property start off, and What this website uses today, above, lists any that are in use. Reject All, Manage and Accept All carry equal weight on the bar, as do Reject All, Accept All and Save Choices in the panel, and the bar stays until you choose. Closing the panel, scrolling or continuing to browse is never acceptance. A missing, damaged or expired choice returns to essential only, and the bar asks again.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Marketing, Advertising and Cross-property stay off whatever else you choose, the Cookies and Preferences bar and panel show "Global Privacy Control detected: Opt-Out Request Honored", and we treat the signal as a request not to sell or share for that browser. See Data Rights.
Optional technology
Every optional cookie or browser storage value is listed in Cookies and Preferences with its name, category, purpose, provider, duration and how to reset it before it runs. It starts off and runs only after you turn it on, in Cookies and Preferences or by starting the feature that uses it. A choice you saved, including Accept All, covers only what was listed when you saved it, so the Cookies and Preferences bar asks you again before anything else optional runs. Closing the choice, scrolling or continuing to browse is never acceptance. A Global Privacy Control signal keeps marketing, advertising and cross-property off, and it is also treated as a request not to sell or share; see Data Rights.
Your browser settings
You can block or delete cookies and stored site data in your browser's settings. Deleting this website's stored data resets your Cookies and Preferences choice to essential only.
With JavaScript off, this website stores no optional cookies or browser data. With JavaScript on, you can set, change or reset your choices here at any time.
Data Rights
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you: the categories, where it came from, why we collected it, the categories of anyone we disclosed it to, and the specific information. Your request covers everything we hold about you, including information older than 12 months and your own privacy request records, unless you ask for a shorter period.
- Send you a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format, electronically or by mail, as you choose.
- Delete personal information we collected from you or about you, subject to exceptions the law allows, such as keeping the record of your request.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Not sell or share your personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, and limit the use of your sensitive personal information.
- Stop calling or texting you, or withdraw any consent you gave.
- Review a decision we made on your request, by appeal.
Equal service
We will not deny you service, charge a different price, give a different quality of service or retaliate against you in any other way for using a privacy right, including if you are a job applicant, employee, independent contractor, student or applicant to an educational program.
We accept privacy requests from anyone and answer each one. Most of these rights come from the California Consumer Privacy Act; the appeal comes from other states' privacy laws, and the right to stop calls and texts comes from federal law. We extend all of them to everyone. If your state's law gives you more, or a shorter deadline, we follow it.
Verifying your identity
Before we act on a request to know, get a copy, correct or delete, we confirm it comes from you, so information is not disclosed or deleted for the wrong person. Alturion LLC has no customer accounts, so we match what you tell us with the records we already hold.
To learn what we have, or to correct or delete it, you confirm the request from the email address or phone number you used with us, and the name you give must match our records. For a correction, we verify with information other than the information you want corrected. For a copy of the specific information, we also ask for one detail about your contact with us, such as when you called and what it was about, and for a signed statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the person the information is about.
We do not ask for identity documents, government ID numbers, passwords or payment details, and there is no fee. We use what you give us only to verify and handle your request. If we cannot verify you, we tell you what is missing, and we still describe the kinds of information we collect.
We do not ask you to verify your identity for an instruction not to sell or share, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, or to stop calls or texts.
Authorized agents
Someone you authorize can make a request for you by any of the same methods; on the request form, they choose "I am an authorized agent acting for someone else". For a request to know, get a copy, correct or delete, the agent gives us your signed permission, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly or to confirm that you gave the permission. We ask for nothing more if the agent holds a power of attorney under California Probate Code sections 4121 to 4130. For an instruction not to sell or share or to limit the use of sensitive personal information, the agent gives us your signed permission. A Global Privacy Control signal needs no permission letter.
What happens after you ask
Every request gets a request ID and is recorded with the date and time we received it. When you use the request form on this page, you see both right away, with a fingerprint that identifies our record, and if you give an email address we also email you a receipt with all three. If you give only a phone number, or you ask by phone, email or mail, we confirm your request and give you the request ID within 10 business days. We never call or text you to confirm a request to stop calls or texts, except the one text that confirms a STOP reply.
- Do not sell or share, and limit the use of sensitive personal information: no identity check. We apply these from the time we receive them, confirm them to you, and always act within 15 business days.
- Stop calling or texting me: no identity check. We stop promptly, and always within 10 business days. A STOP reply to a text stops texts right away.
- Know, copy, correct and delete: we acknowledge your request within 10 business days, verify that it comes from you, and answer within 45 calendar days, counted from the day we receive it. If we need more time, we tell you why before those 45 days end, and we answer within 90 days of receiving your request at most.
- Appeals: we answer in writing within 45 days of receiving your appeal.
If we do not do everything you asked
We tell you what we did, what we did not do and why, unless the law prevents us. If we keep some information because the law requires or allows it, we tell you what we kept and why, and we use it only for that reason. You can appeal by replying to our answer, by choosing "Appeal a decision on an earlier request" on the request form and giving your request ID in the details, or by emailing info@alturionllc.com with "Appeal" in the subject. We answer appeals in writing within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, we tell you how to contact your state attorney general.
How we record your request
Every privacy request is recorded when it reaches us, however you send it. For the request form, our server sets the date and time when it saves your request; the clock on your device is never used. For a call, an email or a letter, we record the time the call came in, the time the email arrived or the day the letter reached us, not the day staff read it, along with the time we logged it.
The record holds what you asked, how and when we received it, and each later step: our confirmation, the identity check, any extension and its reason, our answer and when we sent it, any denial and its basis, and any appeal. Each step is added as a new entry. Entries are never edited or removed while we keep them; a correction is added as a new entry. Each entry carries a digital fingerprint that covers its contents and the entry before it. Your receipt and our staff alert carry the fingerprint of your request, so copies exist outside the record itself, and we check the whole chain of fingerprints when we review the record.
We keep these records for 24 months after we close the request, use them only to handle requests and show how we handled them, never for marketing, and disclose them only to the service providers that store and deliver them for us, or when the law requires it. After that, the personal details in them are deleted on a logged schedule, except what we need to keep deleted information deleted, or to keep an instruction not to sell or share, or to stop calls or texts, in effect. When you ask us to delete information, we keep the record of that request so the information stays deleted.
How to make a request
Use the request form on this page, email info@alturionllc.com with "Privacy request" in the subject, call (562) 685-8813, or write to the address above. When you call, you can make your request to the AI assistant, which passes it to our staff with the time of your call. Tell us your name, the email address or phone number you used with us, and what you want us to do. You do not need an account, and there is no fee.
Please do not send identity documents, government ID numbers, passwords, payment details or health information. If the request form does not work for you, use any of the other methods; each one is recorded the same way.
